Cherished Companion is a family-owned business, at the heart of it are Paul, Ruth, Abigail, and Madison — a loving family who pours their passion and care into everything we do.

Pets are a big part of our lives and mean a lot to us, we truly understand the strong bond created between pets and their owners.

Our current household consists of a Cockerpoo named Fudge, the yard jester Bear who is our 18hh Irish Draught Horse, Kevin and Tabby the toe biting kittens and Eddie the African Grey Parrot. We also welcomed rescue Cats, Midnight and Harley to our family who came to us Feral but have since grown fond of human company! Finally, we can’t forget our 3 little Shetland Ponies, Ozzy, Harry and Robyn.

We fully understand the pain someone goes through when they lose a beloved companion. We lost our dearly loved Cocker Spaniels, Toby and Jack, who’s remains are buried at our previous home address - the option of cremation wasn’t well known then. It was heart breaking moving house knowing that we couldn’t take them with us, something we regret to this day.

In September 2022 we also suddenly lost our 8-year-Old Irish Draught Milo after a very short & distressing illness. Milo was cremated and his ashes remain by our side, and we say good morning and good night to him every day.
