We understand how difficult losing a pet can be, and our hearts are with you during this time. Pets are family, and saying goodbye is never easy. We're here to offer our deepest sympathy and support, helping you create a meaningful tribute to your pet's life. Our process is simple and designed to ease the burden, moving at a pace that works for you.
To schedule a cremation, please follow the steps below:
Contact us to arrange for us to collect your pet, or alternatively you can bring them to us.
Consider which casket or urn you would like as your final resting place for your pet. Click here to explore our selection of memorials and keepsakes.
Let us know if you’d like us to arrange a keepsake such as some fur clippings, paw prints or similar. There is no additional charge for this service.
Once your pet is here and we have permission to proceed we will carry out the cremation. We will contact you to let you know when your companion is ready to return home at which stage we can arrange to deliver the ashes back to you or you can collect them from us. If you would like your pet’s ashes back quicker, we do offer a same day or an attended same day service.

When we lost our beloved dog, Max, Cherished Companion treated him with the utmost care and respect, giving him the farewell he deserved. From the first call to the moment we received his ashes in a beautiful urn, their compassion and professionalism made an incredibly difficult time a little easier. I cannot recommend Ruth & the team at Cherished Companion enough. After losing my hedgehog, Harold, recently I messaged Ruth about arranging to have him cremated as I’ve only used the vets beforehand but I’ve always wanted a more personal experience when handing them over. So to know exactly who he were going to & where he were going made the process much easier. All messages were replied to quickly, she came & collected him straight away & went through the booklet with me showing me all the different caskets/urns until I was happy with my final choice. She had him ready for me within a few days & brought him back in the most beautiful, well made little box with his name on & a little card with his footprints in too. I honestly cannot praise them enough, I’ll recommend them to everyone & will be bringing all my furry & spiky babies to her in the future 🖤

We cannot express enough how grateful we are to Cherished Companion for their exceptional care and professionalism during such a difficult time. When our beloved cat, Tabby Grumbles, passed away very suddenly, we were heartbroken and unsure of what to do next.
